Just like work performance, I believe that “life” performance must also be evaluated so that you can identify things that you can improve on. Here’s my first quarter review:

I’m a tv-addict and a movie fan. Watching awards shows and seeing my favorite Hollywood celebrities mix and mingle with each other gives me goosebumps. As if I was there in that room, witnessing the glitz and glamour. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to watch the Golden Globes earlier today, and it’s as if I missed seeing a friend who visits every year. Okay, okay… that is lame. Well, anyway even if I wasn’t able to watch the show, I am still happy for the winners, although most of the people I was rooting for did not get a Golden Globe.

When I heard about a women’s partylist group proposing that marriage should have an expiration date, I almost laughed out loud. I can’t imagine why people, most especially women, would think that giving marriage an expiration date would be advantageous for them.

Time flies by when you’re having fun.

I didn’t realize it, but it’s already the 7th of January. I was supposed to make a year-end post but instead I will welcome 2010 with my new set of resolutions.

It has been more than a year since I joined Odesk. Before joining Odesk, I got to enjoy receiving yearly bonuses especially the 13th month pay. Now, for the first time in ten years, I will not be able to get any percentage or part of a bonus.

As of this writing, the death toll has gone up to 240. All I could do right now is pray for those who lost their loved ones. Thankfully the spirit of brotherhood is alive and well, as we provide to those who need food, shelter, and clothing. International organizations have been sending aid to the Philippines in whatever way they can.

After three months, I’m writing a post again. I’ve been so busy looking for online work, downloading movies, and playing Facebook apps that I’ve forgotten about my own little corner on the web.
